December 31st Lessons and Carols, 10:00 a.m.
The message of Christmas is “Peace on Earth.” This service was created as a prayerful response to the dissonance of singing “peace on earth” in an increasingly fractious world besieged by hate speech, fear mongering, bigotry, and violence. This service offers time of reflection, prayer, and inspiration as to how we can be provocateurs of love and agents of transformation and Live the Way of Love. So that, united in the newborn Christ, we will become the change we desire to see in our country and our world. This service will feature Christmas spirituals and music from around the world.
